Barfleur

Barfleur is a French village, located in the department of La Manche in the region of Basse-Normandie, inhabited by 643 people. With an area covering only 60 hectares, it is the smallest municipality in the department of La Manche. Barfleur has been declared the most beautiful village of France, awarded by an independent organization to promote French tourist attractions of small towns with a rich heritage.[1]

Vessel type 2= Coastal/high sea vessels: Fishing vessels that fish 25% -75% of their time in the 12 nm zone.
Vessel type 3= High sea vessels: vessels that fish more than 75% of their time outside the coastal zone. These vessels fish offshore the French coast but are in some cases active in the coastal zone of other countries.[3]
