Dieppe, also called "the city of four ports", is located in the North-West of France, more precisely in the Pays de Caux, 170 km north-west of Paris, northwest of the city of Rouen, and at the mouth of coastal river Arques which flows into the English Channel. The city is located in the deep valley of Arques.
