Barfleur is a French village, located in the department of la Manche in the region of Basse-Normandie, inhabited by 643 people. With an area covering only 60 hectares, it is the smallest municipality in the department of la Manche. Barfleur is declared the label of the most beautiful villages of France, awarded by an independent organization to promote French tourist attractions of small towns with a rich heritage.1
