Portreath

Administrative Port: Newlyn
County: Cornwall
Population: 963

Portreath is a village and fishing port on the north coast of Cornwall, England. In the 19th century, Portreath was one of the main exporting ports for copper ore mined in the local area. The village extends along both sides of a stream valley and is centred around the harbour and beach. West of the harbour entrance and breakwater are two sandy beaches which are popular with holidaymakers and surfers.[1]
