Located in the center of the Crozon peninsula, is the capital of the Borough Châteaulin canton. With quite a big area (8037 ha), the town occupies the greater part of the peninsula and includes 155 villages and hamlets. Among them, the resort Morgat (Morgad) in the south, offers a water sports center and Le Fret (Ar Fred) in the north, a small harbor overlooking the harbor of Brest.¹

Coastal/high sea vessels: Fishing vessels that fish 25% -75% of their time in the 12 nm zone.
High sea vessels: vessels that fish more than 75% of their time outside the coastal zone. These vessels fish offshore the French coast but are in some cases active in the coastal zone of other countries.³
