Camaret-sur-Mer

Camaret is located 80 km from Brest and 65 km from Quimper and lies at the western end of the peninsula of Crozon. Camaret-sur-Mer has got a privileged location surrounded by the ocean, at the entrance of Brest Channel and was therefore an important port of refuge, until the appearance of steam navigation. Camaret, from which half of the area consists of protected natural areas, is part of Armorica Regional Nature Park. It is a quiet beach resort. [1]
