Plougastel-Daoulas
- Administrative Port: Finistère
- County: Bretagne
The length of its coast reaches 37 km because it is cut off on the west and southwest side, alternating caps (Marloux tip, tip of the Raven, Caro tip, tip of Brittany, tip Doubidy) and handles (handle of Caro, Lauberlac'h Cove Cove du Moulin Neuf, handle Penfoul) and four ports (Tinduff, Caro, Passage, four-in-Chaux-Lauberlac'h) are located there. An island in the bay of Brest also depends administratively of Plougastel: Round Island. The lake Caro, a protected natural site, is a nesting place for migrating birds . http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plougastel-Daoulas
