According to the definition given by the OECD [2], "Evaluations are analytical assessments addressing results of public policies, organisations or programmes, that emphasise reliability and usefulness of findings. Their role is to improve information and reduce uncertainty..."[1] Evaluation addresses problems of decision making, supporting decision makers with information in order to improve the outcomes of policies and practices.
