Port-en-Bessin-Huppain

County: Basse-Normandie

Port-en-Bessin is a coastal municipality in the country Bessin, often simply called "Port" by its inhabitants. Its village is 9 km northwest Bayeux and 15 km east of Trévières. The two cities of Port-en-Bessin and Huppain merged in 1972 to form a municipality which also includes the hamlets of Villiers-sur-Port and Neuville.[1]

Vessel type 2= Coastal/high sea vessels: Fishing vessels that fish 25% -75% of their time in the 12 nm zone.
Vessel type 3= High sea vessels: vessels that fish more than 75% of their time outside the coastal zone. These vessels fish offshore the French coast but are in some cases active in the coastal zone of other countries.[4]
