Definition of JOINT ASSESSMENT AND MONITORING PROGRAMME:
The Joint Assessment and Monitoring Programme is an OSPAR Commission strategy. It was adopted at a Ministerial Meeting of the OSPAR Commission [1] in 2003. This provides for work to support and produce a series of thematic assessments, leading to a further comprehensive assessment in 2010.
