Cohesive Sediments:
- Particle Size. Silt: 2-63mm. Clay: less than 2mm
- Ionic charges: Interact electrostatically.
- Organic material influence sediment properties
- Strong sediment-fluid interaction (flocculation, turbulence damping etc.)
